As our PHP Software Engineer at CNET Networks, Inc. at our San Francisco headquarters, you will be an integral part of our development team which is designing an advanced web-based tool for tracking and analyzing essential entertainment data, including consumer awareness, interest and purchase intent, competitive mindshare, campaign effectiveness, audience profiles, and editorial coverage. Your proven PHP and SQL expertise as well as your deep understanding of all web technologies from a technical and product perspective will be keys to your success. Initially, you will use your experience with ASP on a Windows platform to convert applications to PHP. As you learn our products, you will work with project and product mangers to add new features and functionality using PHP and MySQL. Your knowledge of MS SQL Server and DTS or SSIS packages will be a huge plus as you design and build web-based tools for editorial and production staff as well as design and build for the live site.
