What you will be doing: 

  • Reviewing insurance company policies/forms for compliance with state specific requirements
  • Drafting insurance company policies/forms
  • Performing coverage comparisons of two or more insurance companies' policies/forms
  • Completing state Departments of Insurance (“DOI”) requirements’ checklists
  • Responding to policy/form interrogatories from the DOI
  • Performing regulatory research and DOI surveys 
  • Communicating with clients regarding project goals, status and results
  • Peer reviewing work completed by other consultants

What'll you will bring to the table: 

  • BA/BS/Undergraduate Degree
  • 3 - 4 years of related experience in the Property/Casualty or Accident & Health insurance industry (desired)
  • Proficiency at scheduling and prioritizing work and deliverables to consistently meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail, good organization, resourcefulness, sound judgment and confidence
  • Aptitude and motivation for staying current with regulatory changes
  • Intermediate Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex instructions, bulletins and documentation
  • Flexibility and composure in the face of changing assignments, priorities or goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-pace, time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
