As the Accounting Manager based in our Houston office, you will report directly to the USA Controller. This position will play an instrumental role in monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure complete and accurate accounting records are maintained. Review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations. Accurate and timely production of monthly/quarterly/year-end financial reporting schedules. Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Proper analytical review of the operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective. Assist in quarterly/annual budget process. Support external financial audit. Complete ad hoc reporting requirements and data analytics. Train/manage accounting staff.

Qualifications and Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): BBA Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA a strong plus 7-10 years’ experience in Accounting including ERP software. Financial statement preparation and analysis Budgeting and forecasting experience. Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management, operations and internal & external customers.  Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and interact effectively in a team environment.  

Core Competencies: Computer literate/friendly, strong work ethic, attention to detail.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Advanced Excel skills Experience with large ERP applications, i.e. Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, LN Manufacturing experience a plus.
