Warehouse and Logistics Lead

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for the shipments of supply chain stocks and product inventories to establish an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. He should also monitor and evaluate the product quality before making any deliveries and should make sure that work equipments are readily available. Since he is the one in charge in the warehouse operations, he will also oversee the welfare and productivity level of all workers. He should gurantee that the work environment is healthy and conducive for workers to carry out their duties without subjecting themselves to any harm or danger.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of delivery trucks using manual handling techniques

  • Moving, barcoding, storing products in the correct warehouse area and ERP system

  • Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner, working to targets

  • Factory line replenishment from:

    • Warehouse to Manufacturing supermarket

    • Warehouse to WIP storage and direct

    • Warehouse to Manufacturing lines

  • Ensuring all produce is free from damage and reporting any discrepancies

  • Using our computer systems to upkeep necessary records and reports

  • Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards

  • Moving inventory using carts, palette trucks or forklift truck (training provided if necessary)

  • Consistently working to good standards of health and safety 

  • Meeting company warehouse standards and procedures

  • Warehousing and Inventory management of:

    • Incoming Supply Chain 

    • Outgoing Finished Goods

  • Own logistics operations inbound / outbound:

    • Suppliers

    • Customer Team

  • Administration of logistics documentation, customs clearance, transportation, storage, licenses and insurances

  • Coordination of delivery of material to and from all company, vendor and customer sites

  • Administration and approval of all import invoices

  • Providing customs & other documentation to the finance department on time 

  • Keep track on all projects for execution timelines, penalty clauses and support project team on project timelines

  • Works with Environmental Health and Safety consultants to define and implement facility safety policies and procedures, and schedules and executes routine inspections

  • Ensures material safety data sheets are maintained and readily available as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Proven working experience 5 years of experience manufacturing or distribution  organization with minimum 3 years in logistics or warehouse operations

  • Excellent command of English

  • Well-organized with sharp attention to details

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

  • Good adaptability and ability to work in flexible hours to meet the project demand and deadlines
