Welding instructors are the foundation behind making sure the future generation have all of the necessary skills to become an essential part of our high demand workforce.  East Central College strives to give students real-word knowledge based curriculum that coincides with American Welding Society standards, this is the perfect combination for student to receive the highest level of education to prepare them for industry with you being on the front lines.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years welding Experience.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, layout procedures, Fitting techniques, must be able to troubleshoot welding machines efficiently, be able to communicate clearly, Work closely with the coordinator on curriculum, work in an fast paced environment, have positive energy towards students.

 

Rate per credit hour (pch): Adjuncts are hired on a per semester basis and are eligible to teach a maximum of 18 credit hours per calendar year and only 9 credit hours per semester.

Adjuncts are paid per credit hour (pch) based on level of degree obtained.

  • Associate/Bachelor - $630 (pch)
  • Master - $650 (pch)
  • Academic/Terminal or Professional - $660 (pch)
