Die Setter - Press Operator

If you answered, "Yes!", then Hatch Stamping Company has just the opportunity for you. We need you to help us keep up with our growing Manufacturing Services demand to deliver state-of-the-art, custom-engineered manufacturing stamping and assemblies.  

As a Die Setter for Hatch Stamping based in Chelsea, MI, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to: operating metal stamping presses, following die setting procedures according to each press, verifying setup sheets are updated and changed if needed, loading and unloading workpieces, adjusting machine settings, verifying die maintenance has been completed according to die tag, documenting piece counts, and using various gauges, calipers and micrometers to inspect and measure pieces to meet customer specifications.  

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in a production facility environment and know how to operate and set stamping dies.  They will be reliable and attentive to quality standards.  

Experience driving a forklift and the ability to read blueprints would be preferred, but not necessary.
