Greenwich St. Jewelers is looking for an experienced and eager Graphic Designer with at least 3-5 years of professional experience to join our growing marketing department and business.
This person will ideate, develop and execute primarily digital creative, and will davvle in other mediums like print. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Graphic Design to design digital content for the G.St. website; translate creative into a digital environment that communicates a cohesive G.St. brand across all platforms and regions.
Content includes graphics for homepage, product pages, editorial landing pages, foundation pages, digital ads, email marketing, sales collateral, and social media. Partner with Creative lead, Art Director, Project Manager and Developer on day-to-day creative updates, print, email marketing and site changes. Participate in brainstorming sessions and the development and execution of those ideas (i.e.: new product launches, shopping experiences, marketing campaigns, etc).
Support Digital Marketing Director with design and execution of all advertising needs (banners, content modules, etc.). Develop creative for 360 projects that live across multiple platforms, including print projects such as: in-store signage, 2D vinyl graphics, wraps, etc.
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat a refined taste level with expert design, color and typography skills. Strong understanding of responsive design. Ability to take direction from Art Directors and provide multiple solutions. Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction. Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through. Ability to think outside the box and have an awareness of digital trends. Extremely detail-oriented, well-organized, strong problem-solving skills.Team player with positive "can-do" attitude. Strong verbal and written communication. An understanding of customer priorities and ability to strive to exceed expectations. Comes up with a lot of new and unique ideas; easily makes connections among previously unrelated notions; tends to be seen as original and value-added in brainstorming settings.
An outstanding professional will have BFA / BA in Design, Digital Design, Fine Art or related field.
Knowledge of e-commerce and experience working with fashion or jewelry photography Drawing/Illustration/Collage skills a plus. At least 3-6 years' experience in graphic design or a related field required. Experience working for a retail/fashion brand or ad agency.
