As QA Manager for ShareVault, you’ll have a hands-on management role in our product development lifecycle, ensuring enhanced product quality for improved customer satisfaction: 

  • Work with the SQA team to define and execute effective testing methodologies and QA best practices to ensure high quality deployments in suitable timeframes.
  • Work hands-on directly with the QA engineers to develop, plan and execute a combination of automated and manual testing based on test cases built from functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Build strong relationships product development, product management, product support and security team stakeholders to understand the needs for the SQA roadmap.
  • Identify and implement strategies for creating realistic test data and load simulation to prove software readiness based on functiobnality, performance and scale. 
  • Measure and report on SQA metrics on a regular basis, not only to prove the readiness of new builds, but also for tracking KPIs for management.
  • Prepare documentation for each new release package, suitable for use by our customers who are subject to 21 CFR part 11.
  • Provide leadership, technical expertise and coaching for individual contributors on the QA team. 
  • Be an active member of the QA team, conducting tests yourself and documenting test cases.

Required Skills and Experience                             

  • 3+ years experience as a hands-on QA team lead or QA manager
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in software quality assurance
  • Expert user of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proven track record in leading development of automation tools, implementing test methodologies, automated test scripting and test cases for B2B web applications.
  • Demonstrated history of a passion for quality
  • Testing and debugging applications on Windows and Mac environments
  • Strong knowledge and experience in QA methodologies
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and implementing lean development methodologies. 
  • Comfortable with fast-paced, schedule driven development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering major, or equivalent industry experience acceptable
