As a Service Engineer for MTI, based out of South Bend, IN, your primary mission will be to travel throughout the U.S. and the World using your installation and trouble shooting skills with our state of the art joining and welding equipment. Your proficient utilization of SIMOTION Scout, TIA portal, SIMATIC Manager and RSLogix5000 IDEs will ensure your success in meeting our customer requirements.  Your superior skills with the diagnosis and repair of electronics systems is absolutely central to the job, but your ability to successfully build relationships with a wide range of customers in the field runs a close second. Additional experience with mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics or robotic systems will really make you a top candidate.  You will also be able to travel 50%-70% of the time, with a sizable travel bonus, with half of that being international. The remaining time will be spent in our South Bend, IN headquarters, supporting other Service Technicians in the field and participating in design, architecture and programming conventions of controls application efforts and being a key player in the improvement process of existing machine design.  Bring the above technical skills along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics and a willingness to learn and grow with a company that will provide extensive training, cares about what you have to contribute and clients that rely heavily on your expertise and find a fullfilling career with MTI.
