You will have a unique opportunity to be a key member of Manufacturing Technology's Project Engineering Department by providing support to our Project Engineering team.  This position will have significant interaction with all functional areas in order to support the construction of our capital equipment project plans.  This role will involve coordination, review and adjustment of these schedules in order to meeting the customer's end date for completion.  This position exists to allow leadership and technical staff to focus on technical, training & development, and process improvement issues. The work accomplished is critical to the management of projects and the analytics of machine build metrics.

Your administrative expertise and manufacturing experience, combined with your experience in Microsoft Office, will ensure that you are able to provide consistent support to the team by providing accurate administrative and administrative support, performing scheduling tasks as well as creating ways to use your organization skills to streamline daily tasks and create efficiencies within the department.  Your highest professional and ethical standards will shine as you integrate yourself within our dynamic and close-knit team.

Specifically, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with our team and peers through your proficient written and verbal communication skills, your coordination of schedules and meetings, your administration of reports and presentations, as well as your timely coordination of data entry requirements.

This position features the use of the following skills:

  1. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  2. Functional use of ERP software.  MTI uses Made2Manaage and this specific software training will be provided
  3. Demonstrated proficiency in interpolating information from similar jobs and applying this information to new tasks
  4. Familiarity with project scheduling concepts
  5. Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workload
  6. Proven ability to effectively work independently and also in a team environment

MTI is a custom machine design and build manufacturing facility and so your experience in engineering, operations or sales support in the area of machine tool industries and/or the machine industry would greatly enhance your experience working with us.  These skills are thus, preferred.
