Starting Salary Range: $41,892 - $50,100 annually DOE ($21.49 - $25.70 per hour), plus benefits

As the Colby Office Assistant, you will provide a variety of support functions for the agency, focused primarily on the operations of EHA’s Colby administrative office in downtown Everett.  You will be one of the primary points of contact for program participants and other members of the public communicating with EHA via phone, e-mail, and postal mail, as well as working closely with other EHA staff.  Your responsibilities will include managing agency files, both paper and electronic; coordinating office machine, shredding, and water services; and providing administrative support to the Finance and Housing Choice Voucher departments on a variety of tasks and projects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a receptionist preferred, but customer service experience in another setting can be substituted,
  • General office experience, including computer usage

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF/SKILL IN:

  • Keyboarding skills equivalent to 35 wpm
  • Skill in dealing with people of all ages, race, ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds
  • Skill in operating computers proficiently.
  • Knowledge and skill in using Outlook, Word, Excel.  Experience in SharePoint desirable.
