As a Senior Software Engineer at Mitutoyo Research & Development America, Inc. (MRDA), you’ll have the opportunity to create advanced software used to control large measurement machines and sensors. You'll be working in an agile environment focused on custom product development. We have a strong focus on maintainable, extensible code, and working with us will provide opportunities to exercise and grow these skills.
Our project touches many challenging subjects such as image processing, hardware interfacing and controls, 3D rendering, automation, etc. We utilize C++, C#/.NET, Azure DevOps, Git, and other technologies. You’ll have exposure to the business, and be an important participant in product architecture and development, design, and technology decisions.
We are seeking a talented full-stack senior-level software engineer to contribute to our custom inspection and metrology product development applications at MRDA.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
With over 10 years of C++ experience, you have an engaged and collaborative mindset to contribute personally as well as mentor our more junior engineers. Your ability to quickly understand, break down, and communicate complex problems will allow you to excel in our team.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range is $120,000-$150,000 per year. The successful candidate’s salary will be determined based on job-related experience/ knowledge/ skills, education, and complexity and responsibility of the role. Benefits include 100% paid medical, dental, vision insurance (75% for dependents), 100% paid life and disability insurance, 6% matching 401k, 15 vacation days, 12 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days per year, and eligibility for performance based annual bonus.
