As Assistant Marketing Manager, based in our LA offices, your primary objective will be to work closely with the marketing manager within digital and print marketing efforts to execute strategic plans as well as coordinate tradeshows, social media, special projects, and various audience and client campaigns for our medical device product portfolio and events. The ideal candidate has a unique blend of creativity and analytical skill and is someone who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced, energetic environment, and can naturally help create order. You will utilize your organizational abilities to manage strong integrated marketing plans and execute those plans according to a schedule and/or budget to meet specified goals and objectives. Your copywriting abilities will be tasked often to create content and draft press releases as needed. You will also utilize your strong communication abilities to work with creative team members to develop compelling brand identities and creative campaigns geared at targeted audiences to drive measureable results.The successful candidate will be comfortable with available marketing levers, traditional and emerging, including:
- Tradeshow coordination, booth set up and event marketing campaigns throughout the year
-Integrated HTML emails and other marketing collateral
-Advertising (online, print, email, etc.)
-SEO/SEM-Social Media Marketing
You’ll also work collaboratively with Account Executives, Brand Directors, and Editors so your abilities to thrive in a collaborative environment will be essential. Prior experience with software and online marketing tools like Salesforce.com, MS Office, Omniture, Google Analytics, and other search marketing platforms are all a very strong plus for this role as well.
