Welding Instructor (part-time)
Union, Missouri - Part Time

East Central College has openings for a part-time (adjunct) Welding Instructors. The instructor is responsible for providing effective learning strategies and real-world welding experiences such as structural welding, fabrication, fitting, blueprint reading, along with multi-process welding to provide high quality welding knowledge for future students entering into the welding workforce.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: (A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications).

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Candidate should be experienced in teaching Career Technical field however, a comparable amount of training, education, certifications, or work-related experience will be considered.

Adjuncts are hired on a per semester basis and are eligible to teach a maximum of 18 credit hours per calendar year and only 9 credit hours per semester.

Adjuncts are paid per credit hour (pch) based on level of degree obtained.
