You will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of DenseBreast-info.org. From managing invoices to coordinating Board of Directors (BOD) meetings, your role will ensure smooth operations across various departments. You’ll be entrusted with critical tasks that involve financial management, website administration, social media coordination, and more. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and nimble environment where your work directly contributes to saving lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial and Administrative Support: Pay bills, review financial statements, and assist with banking and budget management. Coordinate with accountants to manage invoices and renew insurance policies.
- Website Administration: Oversee website updates, track changes, proof content changes, and assist with intellectual property needs. Maintaining Action Logs - Content Use, Press Releases, Website Updates, Featured Pieces, Linking to DBI. Maintain Email Database – Update GDPR, monitor bounces and follow up with necessary removals. Website Proofreading – checking links, typos, ADA compliance for images
- Board of Directors Coordination: Schedule BOD meetings, prepare materials, document minutes, and follow through on action items.
- Donations and Grants Management: Maintain contact lists, schedule discussions for support renewals, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Event Coordination: Organize booth spaces, equipment, and giveaways for events. Coordinate contracts and logistics for team dinners.
- Social Media Support: Review and proof social media posts, and schedule them through platforms like Hootsuite. Comment review and response (Spanish a plus) - Monitor all social platforms for comments and engagement, Supply appropriate responses to commenters, elevate any questions internally, if necessary. “Like” comments, hide inappropriate comments.
- Correspondence Management: Handle incoming inquiries, answer routine questions, and provide information to stakeholders.
- Project Participation: Support major initiatives like World Dense Breast Day and other mission-critical projects.
