Business Transformation Advisor

Yayasan Warisan Inspirasi Nusantara (“WIN”) seeks qualified candidates for the position of Business Transformation Advisor (“BTA”). This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. WIN is a foundation working to create positive economic, social and environmental impact in and across Indonesia by supporting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs.  It seeks to create sustainable and inspirational models for impact on individuals, enterprises, communities and the nation. 

WIN collaborates with Stanford Seed to bring its Transformation Program (“STP”) and related Seed Transformation Network programs (“STN”) to Indonesian entrepreneurs to create thriving enterprises that transform lives.  Stanford Seed is a Stanford Graduate School of Business-led initiative that seeks to end the cycle of global poverty by delivering programs to entrepreneurs in emerging markets. The Stanford Seed Transformation Program has been running in Africa since 2013 and South Asia since 2017, and started in Indonesia early this year.

The STP engages innovative and growth-oriented leaders and teams of medium-sized enterprises who are committed to growing their businesses. During the program, CEOs/founders are exposed to core business skills taught by Stanford University faculty and local experts and then have access to local and regional peer networks, as well as other resources (e.g. coaching) upon completion of the program. 

The BTA will deliver advising and tools necessary to transform business leaders and their companies. The BTA enables growth and scale by providing practical, insightful, and inspirational guidance to small and medium-sized business leaders and their management teams.  This position reports to the WIN Country Director.

Successful candidates will be able to effectively deliver upon the following responsibilities:

  • Utilize a toolbox developed by Stanford faculty and Seed to inspire, and motivate company owners and leaders to develop a plan to transform their companies to the next level of success.

  • Act as a bridge between the faculty and participants to reinforce program learning objectives.

  • Translate the intensive curriculum of the Stanford Transformation program (STP) into actionable insights for business leaders and management teams of small to mid-sized companies through in-person and online workshops.

  • Conduct curriculum-aligned workshops and sessions that help simplify complex management concepts through practical tools and frameworks.

  • Offer real-world examples to illustrate theoretical concepts, and help participants make connections between course material and their organizational challenges and opportunities.

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group guidance to address individual and group learning gaps.

  • Organize and facilitate regular business leader network meetings for assigned group of participants.

  • Monitor participant engagement and identify areas where additional support is needed.

  • Provide feedback to the Entrepreneurship & Management Programs (“EMP”) team on participant experience through the learning journey and areas needing reinforcement.

  • Track participant progress, assess the effectiveness of learning activities, and provide actionable feedback to the EMP team, as requested.

  • Contribute to the development of supplementary learning materials to support Stanford Seed programs (tools, regional case studies, frameworks, etc).

  • Participate in curriculum reviews and new content development as needed to improve learning outcomes.

 *These duties may be adjusted as needed to suit the business needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • MBA from a top-tier institution is preferred; an advanced degree in business or a related field is required.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in business, consulting, or higher education.

  • Strong understanding of core MBA subjects (e.g., strategy, finance, leadership, operations).

  • An advanced level of fluent English skills both oral and written, including active listening and interpersonal skills needed to be an excellent facilitator.

  • Experience working with adult learners or executive education participants is a plus.

  • Ability to engage with a diverse group of participants from different industries and backgrounds.

  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback and guiding critical thinking.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience

  • At the time of hire must be legally authorized to work in Indonesia

  • Must comply with all visas, work authorization, and tax-related laws and regulations as a condition of employment

  • Position is benefits eligible subject to applicable local and international laws and regulations via WIN.
