Key Responsibilities for Success
- Crew Leadership: Supervise daily grading, site prep and earthwork operations
- Equipment Operation: Oversee and operate heavy machinery for excavation and backfilling
- Project Planning: Collaborate with management to sequence tasks and review project specs
- Technical Accuracy: Maintain precise grade alignment using GPS/Trimble, lasers and transits
- Quality & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and engineering plans
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven expertise as a Grading Foreman with preferred 5+ years of experience specific to civil grading/site work
- High proficiency in managing digital documentation efficiently to track daily progress, crew hours, referencing physical and digital blue prints, cost tracking, quantity reports, etc.
- Strong leadership and communication skills—you can manage a crew and keep production moving
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specs
- Proven track record of managing crews effectively while maintaining high morale, a safety first mindset and a deep respect for job site protocols
